How Will Used Cars Hold Up?
Just which car manufacturer wants you to drive their car for a long time? Which car manufacturer is trying harder now than a few years ago? Well as you can probably guess Detroit could car less about you driving their cars for a long time.
Here is my opinion of which car manufacturer really cares about their cars over the long run and build their cars much much better:

Any manufacturer not on this list is going to have many more problems with their cars over the years. The previous owner certainly can distort the above table but the Asian car manufacturers seem to put much more emphasis on long term reliability than European manufacturers and certainly the domestic manufacturers.
