Mazda Introduces their Cash for Clunkers Program
Mazda just released the details for the Cash for Clunkers program. Basically if your trade-in is old and a gas hog the federal government will kick in $3,500 to $4,500 as the trade-in value.
Click here for the details which are:
- The trade-in must be in drivable condition
- The trade-in must be less than 25 years old
- The trade-in must have a combined fuel economy of 18 mpg or less according to the latest EPA ratings
- The trade-in must be owned, titled, and insured by you for the past 12 months or longer
If your trade-in qualifies then you can get one of the two vouchers:
Passenger Car:
The new car must have at least 22 mpg then you get a:
$3,500 Voucher if your clunker got 18 mpg or less
$4,500 Voucher if your clunker got 12 mpg or less
SUV, Minivan, and Light Truck:
The new car must have at least 18 mpg then you get a:
$3,500 Voucher if your clunker got 16 mpg or less
$4,500 Voucher if your clunker got 13 mpg or less
